According to the executive director of the event Angel Passailaigue Postell, “We’ve added more events, more vendors and more tasty details that make this a world-class event. The festival is poised to present a truly unforgettable event that brings some of the nation’s best chefs, wine makers and literati together in this beautiful city.”

The Culinary Village in Marion Square is where the main events will take place. The village will feature more than 70 food businesses, including top restaurants, food purveyors, wineries from around the world. Those in attendance can enjoy cooking demonstrations, author discussions and the Charleston Cooks book signing tent.

Along with the Culinary Village other events include Sip & Stroll, Restaurant Dine-around, New York Times Wine Tasting, the Gospel Brunch and several other wine events.

The Opening Night Party will feature more than 20 of Charleston’s top chefs who will prepare mini meals for people to sample.
Forbes Traveler has the Charleston Food and Wine Festival listed as one of the top 5 in the USA.
